Brandon’s 5th birthday was a “Cars Birthday”.

It wasn’t originally planned that way it just turned out that way!    (and he loved it)

For an early birthday present he got this bedroom set… an upgrade to a big kid bed! 

So we opted for a fun “Cars” themed cake.  He loved it!

Here he is with all his great gifts.  Notice all the cars, it just happened that way….

For the day we had waffles for breakfast and had “Cars” Mac n Cheese for lunch.  We then headed up to the Planetarium to see The Ultimate Universe and hung out around the Planetarium for a bit looking at all the cool stuff.  For dinner we went out to the Mayan with Grandma and Grandpa Lantz… the divers of course being a big hit (might I just add that we all ate way to much of their good food…. we were stuffed).  That evening we had some of our family over for Cake and Ice Cream for more pictures  of the party you can visit our flickr page!

Overall it was a fun filled day celebrating Brandon!

As a side note Alyssa isn’t quite walking yet… she takes a few steps to reach something close…. but if she feels it is to far away she’ll opt for dropping to her knees and just crawling.  She is so close…. just not quite there!
