We had an enjoyable last day of 2008 as a family…sorry no pictures.
We started off the evening with a few rounds of “Guess Who“. Emily and Brandon played a few rounds (Brandon won the rounds I was around for). Then Mike and I played a couple rounds…. he won of course.
Then We played Mario Kart…. it was fun for all!
After we played a ton of Mario Kart, we turned on a movie…. one that Mike said was a favorite of his when he was younger. Cloak and Dagger, I could see this being a favorite of his…. a movie about Atari, video games, and kids saving the day.
By the time the movie was over it was about 11:30 so we got kids teeth brushed and put Alyssa in bed, then we turned on the TV coverage of the New Years Bash in NY. At the same time we pulled out Blockus… a new game we got for Christmas. Mike once again won by 1 point. That took us a little past midnight, at what point we said happy New Year and went to bed!

We just played games on New Year’s Eve too. I love playing games. We also have Blockus, but we haven’t played it in awhile. I don’t think we’ve ever taken score on it though.
