We flew to Florida and got there in 4.5 hours. The kids loved riding on a plane, even though mostly all we could see were clouds the whole trip. Emily and Brandon both thought it was so cool to be above the clouds. But alas 4.5 hours is quite a while for little kids to be confined to a seat although I must say they both did wonderful. We took along books to read and pages to color… it worked out great.
Alyssa on the other hand did pretty well through the bulk of the flight however the landing was simply miserable for her. I’m sure the preassure was bothering her ears and she wouldn’t take her pacifier. I finally resorted to cheerios that finally settled her down and by the time we landed she was simply exhausted.
When we landed in Florida the rain was coming down. At the hotel we finally got everyone situated and in bed. So we could be rested and ready for the fun of the next day.
