Saturday we had tons of fun. First we hit the REI garage sale and picked up a few great things for hiking. I was especially excited about the Backpack Child Carrier. Yeah! Carrying Alyssa will hopefully be so much easier…. now we just need to make sure she’s ready for it 
Then we met up with Harold and Margie (Grandma and Grandpa) at the Miller Motorsports Park. Where we saw lots of race cars, helicopters, trucks, motorcycles…. you name it we saw it! A fun place for boys.
We went there to watch a NASCAR race…. the cars were fast, noisy, and they made the race exciting at times.
The highlight of course was the cart race. Mike and Harold got to drive carts in a cart race. Mike claims he won…. says he passed his dad up twice.
And just a few more of the kids through the day (because I think they’re cute)

That looks WAY fun! When we went to Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, they had a video playing in the gift shop of some race at Miller Motorsports Park! Kind of cool to see that all the way in NC.
