Today Alyssa is 9 weeks old. She rolled from her tummy onto her back, 4 times. She’s never been a big fan of being on her tummy and once she figured out how to get off her tummy she was happy to do so.
Also…she has been batting at toys that hang over her on her play mat. Mostly she loves to hear the praise we shower on her for doing it. Imagine that, such excitement can be achieved because she swings her little hand and hits a rattle. Whoo hoo!
She’s loves to smile and coo at anyone who will give her a little attention. She’ll get so excited and shakes her arms and kicks her legs, just to see a smile.
Emily and Brandon are reading like crazy, they also love to write words and draw pictures. The latest thing they are learning, is how to speak in sign language. They watch “Signing Time” and love to show us what they learned that day.

I’m so excited for Owen to do those fun things. I’ve been trying to teach Benson some sign language. He watches signing time too. He’s got a few down, but he mostly just screams when he wants something. I can’t wait until he can really talk.
