Shortly after he had eaten a chocolate chip cookie he was walking around in the living room. I saw him and told him his face was a mess… he had chocolate on his face. My next comment was “go wash your face off”.
He being the clever little boy that he is (he gets it from Mike) said, “My face isn’t gonna come off“. Not only was his comment purely silly he said it in a goofy little voice… like duh mom!
Later I was telling Mike about this and he said that when he heard what I said he thought the exact same thing. Is that so silly to say, “wash your face off“… not like I meant it literally… I just wanted his face clean.
What fun kids bring into our homes!

That is so funny. What a clever kid. I’ve never really thought of it that way—wash off your face. It is kinda silly.
