Happy Easter!

What a fun weekend!

On Friday Emily learned about weather and rain at Preschool. For their art project they finger painted a rain storm.

Later that evening we had a blast hanging out with the Messina family. We enjoyed conversation, dinner, games on the Wii, and dessert. We were so sad to see them go. But glad they had time to visit with us while they were in town. We sure hope to see them again next time they visit Utah.

Saturday we went out and spent time as a family running errands… :0) we enjoy getting out of the house and spending time together, no matter where we are!

Sunday was a beautiful day! A great day to celebrate the Resurrection of our Savior. It was wonderful to be able to talk with our kids about the true meaning of the holiday. And think of the love that Christ and our Heavenly Father has for each of us to sacrifice so much for us to return to live with them again!

Then on a less spiritual note Mike tried teaching the kids how to tie their shoes…. it is a work in progress. :0) Brandon got so far as the knot at the beginning and Emily got a little farther. It is a complicated thing to teach and to remember. Practice Practice Practice will be our motto this week.

Alyssa is 6 weeks and 2 days old. I can’t believe how big she is getting… not at all our little newborn anymore. In fact she is beginning to outgrow many of the little outfits and pajamas she has been wearing. Time to move her up to 0-3 month clothes. She is generally such a sweet tempered baby and loves to just watch what is happening around her. She sleeps very well through the night, only waking once to be fed. We all love her so much!28807
